VISA: TEMPORARY BUSINESS

B-1 Visa: Very short-term basis

This type of visa is ideal for professionals, investors and entrepreneurs making their initial exploratory steps in the US market. This visa lasts for a maximum period of six months, allowing interested parties to engage in short-term commercial activities. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), has the discretionary power to admit business visitors under the B-1 classification. The various restrictions flowing from such a visa usually generate some difficulties in the mid-term and the long-term.

The applicant must be a Canadian citizen and must in no way intend to conduct commercial activities in the US on a permanent basis. The applicant must be engaged in the following commercial activities, notably  :
